Visa duration:
Firstly, this visa is good because it is issued for a minimum of 3 years (for exceptional talent) and a maximum of 5 years (for exceptional promise). This means that you can obtain permission to stay in the UK for up to 5 years at once. However, there are no limitations on how long you can stay in the country overall, but you will need to renew your visa when it expires by reapplying. Each extension can last from 1 to 5 years, and you can choose the duration.

Once you have chosen the endorsing body, you can proceed to the endorsement process. The first task is to gather all the necessary documents, including:

Application submission
The next step is to submit the application for consideration by
Tech Nation. Although the endorsing body reviews the application, it must be submitted
to the Home Office. The application process for endorsement is the same for those
applying from within the UK and those outside the country. All applicants must submit an
online application through the UK government's website using a specific form.
Candidates for endorsement by Tech Nation are also required to submit an additional
assessment form on the Tech Nation website. This must be done no later than 15 working
days. If this is not done, the application will be deemed invalid and rejected. In this
case, the full application fee will be refunded, and you can reapply.
It is important to note that applying for endorsement and obtaining it is not the final stage of obtaining the Global Talent visa. If you are applying for this visa from within the UK, you need to ensure that your permission to stay in the country does not expire and that you have enough time to complete TWO stages: obtaining the endorsement and the visa itself.
Obtaining an endorsement does not extend any of the grounds on which you are in the UK. It is also necessary to check whether you can apply to switch your current visa within the UK or if you must leave the UK and apply from abroad.

Final stage
Once you have completed everything necessary, Tech Nation will evaluate your application, determine if your skills and achievements meet the selection criteria for Exceptional Promise or Exceptional Talent, and decide whether to approve your candidacy for the Global Talent visa. This stage can take up to 8 weeks. Then, the Home Office will inform you of the decision made on your application, after which you can proceed with applying for the actual visa. It is necessary to submit the visa application within 3 months from the date of receiving your endorsement.
